Multi-Skilled Technical Career Program
South Carolina - Greenville
In the Multi-Skilled Technical Career Program students learn fundamentals in mechanical, electrical, fluid power, and troubleshooting in approximately 40 weeks. The program includes classroom and hands-on lab training. The skills learned allow students to maintain machines in the highly technical and automated manufacturing industry.

Students attend school full time Monday through Thursday. Classes are held at Greenville Tech’s Braisher campus and taught by Greenville Technical College instructors. Students accepted into the MST Program are responsible for the cost of tuition (view Greenville Tech’s current tuition rates here). There is also a $35 application fee due to Greenville Tech at the time you submit your application. Financial assistance and veteran funding are available through Greenville Technical College and the South Carolina Education Lottery.

Upon successful completion of the program the student will receive a Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Occupational Certificate from Greenville Technical College with approximately 39 semester hours of college credit. These accrued credit hours can be applied towards an Associate’s degree. Additionally, those who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity for employment with ATS. Those who become full-time employees with ATS may choose to complete their degree using ATS’ tuition reimbursement benefit.
Successful graduates of this program will have the skills to compete for associate level technician positions and higher. Previous graduates of this program have been hired at higher technical levels both within our technical or leadership career tracts. Previous education, experience, and cost of living are all considered when determining starting pay and level. ATS pays for performance! As skill level increases and experience is gained, your income potential grows and grows. Our top level technical positions can earn up to $70,000 per year before overtime without a four year degree.
