There is a wildlife refuge that covers over 1200 acres where you can hike, hunt and fish. Also the deer are everywhere…if you are a hunter. There are two harbors (Baltimore and Annapolis) extremely close for someone who enjoys boating, fishing or other water activities. You can even get to the ocean in about 90 – 120 minutes. DC presents some wonderful historical fun and activities – it’s surprising the amount of things to see there. If you are into the night life scene; Baltimore, DC, Annapolis and Arlington are the places to be. I have never seen an area with more concerts rolling through and all within reasonable driving distance. If you are into traveling to other states, this area is centrally located for weekend getaways. For example, skiing in the Poconos, visit to NY City, Gettysburg, Shenandoah National Forest, New River Gorge (WV – white water rafting), many beaches….the list could go on. - Adam

There are two football teams within 45 minutes of each other, REDSKINS & RAVENS. There are baseball teams, Orioles and Nationals, and three minor league teams. If you like basketball, you have the Wizards. If you like hockey, there is the Capital’s. There are so many concerts going on here that you could see one every day if you wanted. There is nothing you can’t find here in this area. - Chris
