Fulton, MO May 9th, 2018 – Jeff Owens ’87 of Peoria, Illinois has been elected to the Board of Trustees of Westminister College in Fulton, Missouri. Owens is the Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Technology Services, Inc. (ATS), the global leader in industrial maintenance that helps make factories run better.

Founder in 1985, ATS employs 3,400 people and is headquartered in Peoria, IL with offices and service centers in Greenville, SC; Monterrey, Mexico; and the United Kingdom.

Owens has dedicated his career to building ATS from a small start-up that was spun out of Caterpillar into an important supplier of manufacturing and IT technology services to many of the largest manufacturing companies in the world.

He started his career in a sales training program after graduating from Westminster College, where he was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

Owens has demonstrated his strong commitment to Westminster by providing opportunities for employment and internships for today’s Westminster students. He was awarded the Westminster College Lifetime Alumni Achievement Award in 2017, and he is also a member of the Chancellor’s Circle, one of the most significant giving societies at Westminster.

He has been a long-term and active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and continues to expand his horizons with new experiences and educational opportunities while maintaining a strong network of business leaders throughout the world. He is an accomplished entrepreneur with experience in growing a company by focusing on culture, quality, people and customers.

Owens travels extensively for his business and lives in Peoria, Illinois with his wife and two children.
