ATS Marks $100M Revenue Milestone
Factory services company focuses on continued growth in 2005
January 26, 2005, Peoria, IL

Advanced Technology Services, Inc., (ATS), the industry leader in factory production equipment maintenance, IT infrastructure support and industrial parts repair for manufacturers, today announced that it has surpassed $100M in corporate revenue for 2004.

ATS grew 22 percent during the year, an unprecedented year-to-date performance for the company, exceeding prior sales and operating profit records. ATS reached this milestone by implementing an innovative corporate strategy underpinned by a company restructuring and new management team. The company added significant new customers in 2004, (Masterbrand Cabinets, Inc., TRW Automotive (NYSE: TRW), Electrolux (Nasdaq: ELUX) and Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), among others) and deepened its longstanding relationships with existing customers like Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT), Eaton (NYSE: ETN ), Honeywell (NYSE: HON) , GE (NYSE: GE) and Honda Motor Company (NYSE: HMC).

ATS’ growth was also fueled by the expansion of the industrial maintenance services market, which analysts D.F. Blumberg Associates predicts to reach $99 billion by 2005. These favorable elements enabled the company to create some 500 new jobs over the last 12 months, during a critical time for employment in the manufacturing sector.

"We were able to surpass our performance goals for the year due to the efforts of each member of the ATS family and their 100-percent commitment to serving our customers", said ATS President Jeffrey Owens. "We will continue to amplify and expand our leadership position in the fast-growing factory maintenance services market and anticipate sustained success and even stronger performance in 2005."

ATS will mark its 20th anniversary this April for providing a single-source solution to manufacturers needing production equipment maintenance, industrial parts repair and IT services, including hardware maintenance, network and systems consulting and help desk support. Leaders in the heavy equipment, automotive, consumer appliance, government, healthcare, finance and aerospace industries have significantly increased factory productivity, fulfilled a growing need for skilled labor, and improved competitiveness by working with ATS.

ATS has brought a new intensity and heightened focus to the sales and marketing arm of the company this year by augmenting the senior management team in order to drive awareness of the company as a leader in the factory maintenance outsourcing market. Also key to the company’s exceptional growth has been its achieving a new level of discipline in operations, a revitalized dedication to service quality and refocused energy for customer service and continuous improvement.
