ATS Earns 2005 International Torch Award Honorable Mention from Better Business Bureau
Advanced Technology Services recognized for high standards of ethics and conduct
September 21, 2005, Peoria, IL

Advanced Technology Services, Inc., (ATS), the industry leader in managed services for production equipment maintenance, industrial parts repair and IT infrastructure support for manufacturers has been awarded the Honorable Mention 2005 International Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics by the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This is the first year that the Torch Award includes an honorable mention category, which judges created to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the finalist companies.

"For ATS to receive the International Torch Award Honorable Mention is truly an honor, and it belongs to each of our 1,500 employees," said ATS President Jeffrey Owens. "ATS' most valuable asset is our reputation for integrity. We strive to raise the performance bar not only for our customers, but internally among all employees, with our investors, suppliers and the community every day."

ATS was named one of twenty-six semi-finalists in December 2004, from a pool of companies across North America. After careful deliberation, the twenty-six were reduced to three finalists. While historically one company is selected for the award, this year two of the top three companies contending for the award were so closely matched that the judges were compelled to create an honorable mention category.

As part of the selection process, ATS was evaluated on its company code and business conduct policies, examples of service and achievement awards the company received from customers, and management's involvement in industry, trade groups and the community that relate to business ethics and conduct.
