Advanced Technology Services, a leader in managed production equipment maintenance and innovative IT solutions, announced its recognition by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) as one of the world's top 100 outsourcing service providers.
The Global Outsourcing 100 list sets a precedent by providing the first industry-wide benchmark for overall outsourcing excellence. It includes companies in such areas as information technology and business process outsourcing, facility services, real estate and capital asset management, manufacturing, and logistics. ATS was ranked 30th out of the 100 companies listed.
"We are excited to be recognized as a leading outsourcing provider," said ATS president Jeffrey Owens. "To be noted on an international level for our efforts and contribution to the manufacturing industry directly reflects our core values and our company's commitment to putting our customers first. We are proud to be included on the Global Outsourcing list."
Companies on the list were ranked according to 18 criteria, including revenue growth, number of employees, the skills and training of their workforce, the number of technical and business certifications they have secured, the track record of their management team, and the quality of customer service. This first-ever Global Outsourcing 100 list appeared in a special advertising feature in the April 3 issue of Fortune magazine
