What kinds of rotations will I go through and what will I learn from them?
You will have the opportunity to go through corporate based rotations like Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, Service Quality/Training/6 Sigma, etc. In these rotations, you will gain exposure to the Corporate office environment and how the departments within operate. You will also have the opportunity to go through some rotations off site in Operations, Safety, Start-Up, etc. These opportunities will give you some experience and exposure to the customer and our employees at the site. You will learn how our leadership team leads and motivates our employees at the sites, how our leaders handle the financial responsibilities, how to interact and communicate with our customer, and much more!
How are rotations assigned?
There are several things that go into your rotation assignments. Our Director of Organizational Development determines your next rotation based on our company needs, your developmental needs, and your interests/career path.
What happens when I finish the program?
All LDP participants have different career paths, goals, and strengths. All participants are unique with their own career path to leadership. It's really in your hands to determine your first step out of the program. LDP participants are expected to network and make a plan for their career during the 2 year program. Many trainees will have their first job out of the program determined early on, and it takes others a little longer. If you haven't determined what you want your next step to be as you exit the program, you will meet with key executives throughout the company to help identify what that next step will be.
